Safety fire drill training
In order to enable all employees of the company to understand the basic knowledge of fire protection, improve safety awareness, enhance self-protection ability, master the response and escape skills for sudden safety accidents, learn to extinguish fires and orderly evacuate personnel and property to ensure the safety of employees' lives and company property, a full-staff safety fire drill training was organized on August 20.
In order to enhance everyone's safety awareness, the trainees were taught safety emergency knowledge and the correct way to wear protective equipment, and the action essentials of first aid measures were demonstrated on site.
Help everyone to make the right response in an emergency and prevent potential safety risks in daily work.
Use of fire extinguishers
During the drill, we particularly emphasized the correct use of fire extinguishers. Because fire extinguishers are the most common tools for early fire fighting, mastering their use is crucial to preventing the spread of fire. We also demonstrated how to operate a fire extinguisher correctly, including key steps such as pulling out the safety pin, aiming at the source of fire, and pressing down the handle.
When the fire alarm on site suddenly sounds, we need to take relevant countermeasures:
Step 1: Be alert and confirm, and never underestimate "false alarms"
After receiving the fire alarm signal, you should immediately check the location of the fire alarm to confirm the source and nature of the alarm signal.
Preliminary verification of the fire alarm signal is carried out through the automatic fire alarm system, video surveillance system, etc.
If it cannot be confirmed directly, you can quickly notify the nearest personnel at the alarm point to check on the scene.
Step 2: Quick response and alarm
Once it is confirmed that the fire alarm is real, you should immediately call the "119" fire alarm phone to report the fire, and explain in detail the location of the fire unit, the location of the fire, the type of burning objects, the size of the fire, the name of the person who reported the fire, and the contact number. At the same time, the internal fire extinguishing and emergency evacuation plan of the unit should be immediately activated and reported to the person in charge of the unit.
Step 3: Start fire-fighting facilities
Turn the fire alarm linkage control switch to the automatic state (if it is not in the automatic state yet), and ensure that the fire-fighting facilities can be automatically started and play a role.
According to the fire situation, operate fire pumps, smoke exhaust fans, fire curtains and other fire-fighting facilities to carry out initial fire extinguishing and prevent the spread of fire.
Step 4: Organize evacuation and self-rescue
Through fire broadcasts or other means, notify the personnel in the building to evacuate quickly, and guide them to evacuate in an orderly manner according to the predetermined evacuation route.
During the evacuation process, remind personnel to pay attention to personal protection, lower their bodies as much as possible, and cover their mouths and noses with wet towels to prevent inhalation of toxic smoke.
If the escape route is blocked by fire, they should immediately retreat indoors, close doors and windows, block gaps, and pour water on doors and windows as much as possible to prevent the spread of fire.
Step 5: Assist the fire department in rescue
Provide the fire department with information such as the structural diagram of the building and the distribution of water sources to assist them in launching rescue operations quickly.
After the firefighters arrive, actively cooperate with them in fire reconnaissance, fire fighting and rescue.
Step 6: Follow-up treatment
After the fire is extinguished, organize personnel to clean up the scene, including cleaning up debris and finding the cause of the fire.
Summarize and evaluate the fire response process, find deficiencies and make improvements. At the same time, strengthen fire safety education and training to improve the ability to respond to fires.
Through this safety emergency drill, the safety awareness and fire-fighting ability of the personnel participating in the safety fire drill have been enhanced. All employees have a further understanding of safety common sense and have improved their ability to respond to safety accidents.
At the same time, we will continue to strengthen the investigation and management of hidden dangers, refine work measures, increase safety management efforts, and establish and improve safety management systems.
